TagBatch Privacy Policy
TagBatch helps Shopify merchants generate and review product-tag suggestions. This policy describes the app data used to provide that service.
Data we process
We process the connected shop domain, granted access scopes, product identifiers, titles, vendor and product-type fields, existing tags, and up to three product images selected for analysis. We also store task, usage, review, publish, restore, audit, and webhook records needed to operate and secure the app.
TagBatch does not request order or customer access scopes.
AI processing
Selected Shopify-hosted product images and product context are sent server-to-server to Volcengine Ark to generate visual tag suggestions. Shopify access tokens and app secrets are never included in model prompts. Merchants review suggestions before any product tags are written.
Retention, deletion, and security
Uninstalling stops queued work and removes app sessions. Verified Shopify privacy requests delete applicable tenant data from the active app database. Production backup retention and cross-region details will be published before public launch and must match the deployed services.
